The Break-up Playlist

A not-so-quirky Sarah G and Piolo at his best. The Breakup Playlist silently touch its audience with love through music. It is not your typical Star Cinema RomCom with loud formula. I love how the director arrange the sequences and song numbers just enough to blend in its overall concept of music and love. Song choices were good. The plot is well-crafted with engaging conversations and a relatable storyline. For me, this is Sarah G’s most mature acting performance to date. Oh well, Piolo is Piolo. Still, a Star Cinema’s finest. 5/5 stars.
