Before I Wake

Before I Wake brings you to a good ride of dreams, imagination, realism & subconsciousness. It may not be as coherent as it should be given the mystery-suspense formula but the film thrives to become an interesting B-movie in the end. This psychological slick thriller gave face to depression and the pain of loss. On the other hand, it spins off a perspective of a child especially when they have dreams. You may find yourself skeptic at times but the film glued me until the end. There are some scares but so minimal. It caught my interest and fairly enjoyed as a whole. 3/5 stars.
