WHAT I LIKE?
After the success of Wonder Woman, Aquaman is another redeeming film for the DC Universe. What I like about Aquaman is its overall consistency considering that he is a superhero who spent most of his time underwater. Aside from its consistency, Aquaman lived up to its main plot material offering some impressive cinematic visuals & production design. As expected, the whole movie is full of CGI which is for me expected with the whole concept of this superhero film. Aside from its highly-entertaining action sequences, the film draws its strength from an effective narration down to impressive performances from Momoa, Kidman & Heard. Jason Momoap was born for the role. I couldn’t think for anyone in Hollywood who could play best for this role. For me, everything you need to expect from a superhero movie is here with Aquaman. With enough action, heartwarming scenes, this movie offers a decent popcorn entertainment. I really love the visuals of Atlantis and other kingdoms. The action sequences are very engaging too. The final battle was truly a remarkable visual feast. After all the disappointments of Fans from the recent DC Films, I hope they could give chance to Aquaman as much chance they gave for Wonderwoman.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE?
I hope they could improve more especially on the CGI Effects but generally, Aquaman is an impressive masterpiece.
After Superman’s death, mankind faces a new threat from a darker evil force. Batman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg joined forces in forming a league to save the world from the horrible destruction. Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder under Warner Bros.
Casts: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen

WHAT I LIKE?
Justice League was a sign of relief after the disappointments of Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad. Overall, it was a movie that has a consistency in terms of superhero formula. It was actually faithful to its main source. This superhero universe made a mark with its brand of action and entertainment. The plot was easy to understand and it was smoothly narrated despite the pressure of introducing 3 new characters in the universe. With its short running time, it was entertaining and engaging most of the time. I loved Wonderwoman and The Flash in the film. The action sequences were good and there were some impressive visual engineering especially some of slow-motion scenes. Generally, I am pleased and I am looking forward for the next movie in the DC universe.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE?
Justice League lack the charm and dynamism that Marvel invest long time ago in majority of their films. Because of its short running time, I feel like some of the elements were sacrificed. One of which is the character build-up of the Villain and the 3 new characters in the team. Also, how I wish the movie was less CGI-sh. There were some pretty bad visual editing. Hope they will improve this moving forward. But, I still loved Justice League.
Being trained in an island inhabited by female warriors, Diana grew up in an ideal island equipped with extraordinary combat skills. Her life changed when a pilot crash-landed nearby. She found out that there is an eminent threat of World War and vows to use her superpowers to restore peace. This DCU movie is directed by Patty Jenkins under Warner Bros. Pictures.
Cast: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Said Tagmaoui, Ewen Bremmer, Eugene Braverock, Elena Anaya
WONDER WOMAN exudes every frame and charm expected from Gal Gadot and a very superb and impressive Production design. This was the saving piece of DC Movies after Green Lantern, Suicide Squad & Batman V Superman. It is a well-crafted superhero film that will take you into new heights in terms of going deeper the story of Diana being an amazon princess and her discovery of her own supernatural powers that could save the world. It started with a very great introduction about the origins of the Amazon warriors. From then, the story progresses in the right phasing wherein we could grasp every details of the origins of Wonder Woman. The island of the Amazon Warriors was amazing. It is a visual-spectacle for me and editing and production design were top-notch. I also loved the old London setting during the War. It was superbly-executed and I must say, one of Hollywood’s finest indeed. Costumes, language, cars and even little things were very consistent with the period reflected. I must commend the costume design as well of all Amazon warriors and even Diana herself. Aside from a very impressive set, action sequences are to live for. Wonder Woman is one of the films with the best execution of man-to-man fight scenes. I personally love the fighting scenes in the island and of course during the war zone too. The slow-motion feature was utilized very well and it was so mind-blowing on the big screen. I was breathless for countless times during the action sequences. Visual editing was great too. It was somehow less CGI effects now except that Diana-Ares fight scenes which is actually good for a DCU film which is normally overloaded with CGI stuff. Plot-wise, I loved that Wonder Woman was able to mix well its semi-dark plot with very engaging and light conversations and modest comedy which are in timing as well. Comedy in the film as on its perfect timing. Aside from that, the film’s strength is attributed to the main icon – Gal Gadot. She was just charming and so hard to resist from beginning to end. Gal impressed me with her acting and fell in love with her in all fight scenes. Chris Pine was also one of the film’s win as they have a very good and strong chemistry with Gal. The romance of Gal & Chris was an icing in the cake. What more I can say? Wonder Woman is highly-recommended and I am so much okay in watching it again.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE?
CGI-ish Visual Effects on Diana-Ares fight scenes could have been better but is forgivable anyways.
Suicide Squad explored the tried & tested Marketing efforts and a very catchy trailer only to lure you with a hit & miss entertainment & a sloppy storyline. The whole DC formula was almost good. With the injection of a little humor and good special effects, the movie is less darker than that of Batman Series or other gigantic DC movies – which is a good sign. In all fairness, I enjoyed the movie. Despite weaker and dull character motivations, the film’s shallow conflict formula and a very disorganized plot, the film managed to satisfactorily please its audience in general. The variety and color of characters made the whole film interesting the least. Giving it 3.5/5 stars for the film and 5/5 stars for the trailer. Disclaimer: Go ahead and watch the film to find out.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice could either please or disappoint a large variety of audience. The Marketing of the film is truly effective as this drew more than enough hype for it to become one of the most anticipating superheroes clash this 2016. It may disappoint action junkie types as half of the film was made to establish the plot and the premise of the whole clash spin-off. It does not bear as much as action sequences to make the film as memorable and as spectacular as other films on the same genre. Somehow, it will make you crave for more. As the storyline is as less interesting than these iconic superheroes, it is actually enjoyable as a whole (not minding the real juice). Storyline could have been presented better and the source of conflict could have been deep enough. With some forgivable CGIsh scenes and a good production design, BVS can really gather split audience reactions. Spoiler-free review but I am Team Superman forever. 3.5/5 stars.
