What I like about Flatliners is its approach on presenting its intriguing and dynamic plot about the Medical World and the Afterlife. The creative and scientific interpretation of the Afterlife is well-crafted with an impressive Medical world setting. Production design and Cinematography is impressive. I really love majority of the scenes especially during the hospital and the flatlining scenes. Even though I can’t relate with their profession and their terminologies, I think they were more or less accurate. Aside from a good story set-up, the movie has explored well the superficial side of the story too. The movie also has good thrilling and decent scares. Its has also good visuals and sound engineering as well. I also loved the characters. Overall, sequencing and phase was just right with the way the story is presented. The film left a little mystery until the end and some surprising twists.

I wish there was a deeper conflict development and climax build-up. Somehow, its generally forgivable. Still an enjoyable flick with a round of popcorn and soda.
